It is weird hearing Ron Howard narrate about Ron Howard without any self recognition. But good lord is his
"daughter" hot

Hard to believe she's 37 with 2 kids

The entire story line of getting all the signatures to shoot a movie about the family is fantastic, as that was the original plan for AD.

I was pretty sure she is British, so I looked it up.

Born in Oman, moved to Scotland early, brought up in Australia, then it seems back to the UK. So...a British citizen, but that is an interesting background. And yes, I figured she was about 30, so surprised she is 37.

Isla Fischer is one of the hottest women on the globe, bar none. Absolutely stunning and seems to have a really fun personality.

I found myself tiring a bit of the Buster plot lines though and they really didn't seem to have the same chemistry as the other members of the family, in some ways it felt somewhat tacked on.

The 4th season started off really slow imo, but as the layers grew and the density of the story became more obvious it was very enjoyable. No where near the quality of season 1 and 2, and I still laugh harder at this Buster moment than from anything in the 4th season:

edit: not my video or my giggling.

So the big event at the end of the season had a pretty clever joke hidden in it as well:

BIG SPOILER!

I'm only on episode 6 or 7, but I wish they had just written Michael Cera out of the show. God I can't stand him. He seems to have some kind of "I'm better than this attitude"

I wouldn't blink an eye if his career torpedoed.

Wow, weird. Michael Cera and David Cross are my favourite actors on the show.

Seriously? I won't spoil anything, but the last couple episodes where it focuses on him are hilarious.

Spoiler!

Yeah, exactly Justin. Michael Cera killed it in the last couple of episodes.

No idea where you get the whole better than this attitude Kermit, he wanted to be apart of the show not only as an actor, but he joined the writing staff too.

Yeah, its worth pointing out that the early rumour that Michael Cera was the only cast member that didn't want to come back and was delaying the process was a fake rumour Hurwitz and Co. spread as a joke.

kind of a hit and miss some season, but its sheer ambition really made up for all the bad or drawn out jokes.

best joke:
"...making magicians Americas least favorite entertainers, followed by late night talk show hosts."
"well #### you too America."
(Andy completely killed it this season)

worst joke:
Gob saying "sh-sh-sh-sh..." for like 2 min, several times, each more painfull than the last.

Half-way through now, and I'm starting to see how incredibly layered it is.

Just finished the new season, and didn't really like it. Some parts were hilarious, but as a whole, it was underwhelming. I understand that there were constraints with the actors' schedules and salaries, but I still didn't like how each episode focused on one character. Episodes were too long. There wasn't much satisfaction with the puzzle pieces falling into place, since there wasn't really much of a point to any of it anyways. B- from me overall.

Biggest laugh from me was when Michael is talking to Ron and finds out that he is Rebel's father

Ron: "You didn't know I was her father?"
Michael: "I knew that part, but I also thought you were her...."
and then Tobias, looking disgusted:
".....her LOVER???"

This was act 1. There are 2 more acts to go.
