The Magazine thread

I did a quick search and couldn't find a thread that was dedicated strictly to magazines people read. If there is one, please point me in that direction and delete this..

That being said, what magazines are people reading, and where do you get them from?

I recently went searching for a copy of SLAM, Sports Illustrated and/or something hockey related and I was stumped. I went to Indigo, Mcnaly Robinson and a Shoppers Drugmart and found nothing.

Are people buying these exclusively online only now?

I also usually pick up a draft preview magazine but I am guessing it is a bit early for those.

Magazines are a dying industry. All the greats are gone, or struggling. You can use your library card to read digital versions using Press reader.

I used to get all the Guitar World magazines for the great tabs they had. But then the internet came along and made it redundant.

The only 'magazine' I get now is the Downhomer (Newfoundland magazine) as a gift from my newfie parents.

I will occasionally, but 99% of my magazine reading is on Apple News... The price, for an avid reader, is great value.
