If we're including card games:
We've played lots of Axis and Allies, I play a ton of Risk (rules, not maps) on www.conquerclub.com and the Mrs. and I really like the Catan games.

Bump...
For anyone interested in Board Games, Fallcon is this weekend in Calgary
www.fallcon.com
Alot of the better games are obviously already full but if you are interested you might want to stop by and take a look. The group that puts it on does a great job IMO.
Tomorrow at about 6-630pm they have a used game auction, its a good experience if you are interested in some out of print games.

Geez no one has played Pass-Out?
Reminiscent of a College drinking game, players roll and move around a board taking a drink when the board square instructs.
Each time a player passes the 'start' square he must take a 'Pink Elephant' card which contains a tongue twister. If he managers to recite the card three times successfully he gains the card.
The first player to obtain 10 'Pink Elephants' is declared the winner.

Blood Bowl Team Manager is my new favourite board game.
For those of you familiar with Blood Bowl, it's faithful to that theme but is a very very different game. For those unfamiliar with Blood Bowl, it's basically a deck building/zone control game with a high-fantasy football theme.
My table top Blood Bowl league plays the new game between matches and it's always a riot.

I love Monopoly. It was my favorite board game and I can remember playing games that would go on for days. I even have memories of playing it with a couple of different nannies before I could read. When I did learn how to read, I remember how the one was cheating me.
However, no one will play it with me anymore. I have only lost a 2 player game on a couple of occasions in my life. Haven't played it in over 10 years for sure.
Game of Life was fun when I was younger.

My children (10 and 8) love playing Quarriors with me. It is a light game, where deck-building has been replaced with dice-building. The game is made better with the Demons expansion:

Advanced operation
If you accidentally kill the patient on the table the other players form a board of inquiry and you have to run back through a video tape replay of the surgical failure, at that point the other players yell at you and call you incompetant and a bloody butcher. One of the players takes on the role of the inhouse attorney, he rolls a 74 sided die which indicates the settlement dollars which you have to pay.
In the adult version of this game if you drink to much before or during surgery, you must go directly to jail do not pass go and collect your gaudy annual salary and you must surrender your license to practice and your relegated to another game of operation, called Mexican unlicensed plastic surgeon.

You could always play the computer game. It has everybody but the Chaos Dwarfs and does all the rolling for you.

RISK is like an 8-track tape, compared to the new board games.
