Pagnota believes Hall is going to ARZ. Hes pretty bang on when things get close to the finish line.

That's a good 70/30 win as if he is moved and signed you don't have to worry about the offseason

Hasn't Hall said he wants to play in a hockey market again? Doubt he signs there.

Oh good grief, obviously that would be a stupid bet on my side...
However I can not imagine the Coyotes trading for that type of player only to lose him in a few months.....

It would be unwise for Hall to sign a contract when he is most likely the most sought out free agent forward in 2020 (assuming Backstrom re-signs with the Caps). He is going to get PAID.

Panthers prospects Aleksi Heponiemi and Henrik Borgstrom are both healthy scratches tonight. Florida has been rumored to have jumped in with a big offer for Hall

There would have to be a hefty salary going back the other way, as well. Only 2 contracts fit that criteria and that's Yandle and Hoffman. Yandle would free up space next year to re-sign Hall, but including Hoffman would make it a pure rental.
Two prospects with a lot of upside, but acclimatizing to the NA game.

A name I could see being part of the return is Mark Pysyk, who doesn't seem to have a spot in Florida right now despite commanding a reasonably hefty salary.

The Devils can also retain salary if need be.

If NJ has to eat 50% of Hall's salary, Florida's 1st is absolutely part of the package. As it stands, 2 of the last 3 first round picks by Florida, plus a roster player (with value), isn't a bad bid. Pysyk is salary dump territory.
I could still see Florida doing it. 2 prospects, 1st, Pysyk, gives NJ the 4 assets they were looking for, even if it costs them 3M against the cap this year.
From a Florida point of view, Tallon would be abandoning any thought that the Panthers can play defense, and go all in on outscoring the opposition for the duration.

I still think that in any deal for Hall, they would want a goaltender back as well.
Thats why i still think the Blues would be heavily involved, and would part with Jake Allen as part of their deal.

The Coyotes can deal Raanta.

If the Coyotes are involved, Antti Raanta could be a natural fit to go the other way if they're super comfortable with Kuemper. His results speak for themselves but the strength of that tandem is a huge part of why Arizona is atop the Pacific.

per HNIC:
Coyotes are the favourites to land Hall and believed to have the best offer on the table for Hall
Coyotes two top prospects Hayton and Soderstrom are not part of the package
appears the two teams are haggling over the inclusion of Kevin Bahl
teams believe that the Devils are trying to see if anyone is willing to beat Arizona's offer
Devils haven't given anyone permission to talk contract extension with Hall
Friedman doesn't believe the trade will come with an extension in place

Nick Merkley, Kevin Bahl and Adin Hill would be my guess
although Arizona would have to shed some salary somewhere.
