Bump. Reminder. 5 episodes get released Sunday night on adult swim.
To get in the mood you can watch the Rick and Morty Marathon stream:

Not outstanding, but a pretty solid premiere. Lots of great little moments. Rick cratering himself after waking up in another fascist reality was pretty good. "Nope" *shatter*. The post-credit scene was a nice touch.
I'm so glad it's back.

It doesn’t let me stream on adult swim... do I have to catch it when it “airs” on the site?

I don't know. There's a free AS preview on Telus right now, so I just PVRd it.

I PVR'ed the episode, and didn't realize there was a post-credit scene.
Just went back to the PVR and resumed play (during the credits) and voila there it was.
Fantastic way to cap the episode.

Yeah, you have to watch the Post-Credit scene, it makes everything so much better.

Lost in all this is what the hell did Rick and Jerry see in the cat mind-scan?

Considering the ####ed up things they've shown it has to be off the scale awful. Which isn't surprising. Can you imagine the evil of a sentient cat?

I'm not convinced that the cat itself was directly responsible for the puke inducing scene, but that it was inextricably linked to it by virtue of its existence. We know Rick has an interesting moral compass - if the cat was a bureaucrat he'd have no problem killing it, but he recognized that the cat was just living its best life.
Then again, I love that a cat that had been involved in such extreme stuff ended up bored and unimpressed with Florida.

There's a chance when all is said and done that Rick & Morty might be considered one of, if not the, greatest series(') of all time.
News is we may be waiting up to 8 months for the final 5 episodes of season 4...
