I’ve posted this question in this thread before, why didn’t Tommy sign Akio? He’s a Calgary kid who was in the Foothills system did well in NCAA. I just don’t get it? How could Tommy have missed that badly?

I don’t know that it was brilliant from Valour. Their first goal looked pretty clearly offside. The second goal, the ball looked out and there was a foul at the top of the box. I can’t say for sure because I would want to see a replay, but at the game that was my thought?
And obviously, we have to bear down and score on the penalty. Looked like a good save, but you’ve got to bury that one.

That second goal felt like a back breaker. Sure looked like it was out on the sideline, then with the foul it seemed like a double whammy. Cavs missed some opportunities for sure but I thought the officiating was pretty suspect all afternoon. Credit to Valour, they didn’t give up much in the second half. Just felt like there was no space out there.

I believe in the Jays.

On the bright side, I thought Loturi had his best game by far as a Cavs player. It would be huge if he could keep that level up and play alongside Ledgerwood in the playoffs.

I just watched the replays, he was onside for the first Valour goal. The 2nd goal looked suspicious for a foul for sure.

Live, the tying goal looked like it was caused via a foul. On the highlights, complete dive by Di Chiara trying to draw the foul.

He’s been a really bad signing.

Was the ball in bounds on that tying goal? It was hard to see for sure from my vantage point.
Maybe the Cavs just got carved up though. It didn’t seem like they were playing bad enough to concede 3/4 goals to me, but these things happen. That last goal looked nice, but it was at the other end and at that point they had to be throwing everyone forward.

The cavalry got frustrated and moved away from what works. Hopefully they recognize that and move on. Low percentage stretch passes and long shots into traffic is some high school futball level of play. They need to be more composed full stop.

The Cavs sent out their season ticket renewal notice, and I renewed within five minutes.

Renewing was an easy choice, with our credit we bought the parking pass too ( no one else do this so that we can have it to ourselves).

Also saw that they made 201 a part of the supporters section. I guess all my standing and swearing finally payed off.

What are the benefits of the officers club are? Seems to be far from the field so maybe not the best seats? Just curious

You get to schmooze amongst the players, staff and the horse jumping elite, wearing a blazer / bow tie and sipping on martinis whilst being warm inside. Free grub I think too!

If Cavalry win against Pacific on Sunday, we get a home playoff game in the semifinals. Time to nut up or shut up. Maybe don't start Di Chiara...

Win Saturday and we get one home game, win both we might be able to host the final if we get there. Will be really disappointed if we don't put out the strongest lineup from here on out.
