Someone leaving opens up opportunity for others and there are a lot of amazingly funny women on SNL. Like others have said, I like Villasenor and Gardner, and Sarah Sherman always cracks me up with her Colin Jost bit on update. I think she's on the cusp of really breaking out.

Sarah and Ego are my faves. I skip a lot of sketches but those two are consistently funny to me.

No joke swap during Update in the season finale is disappointing.

Without question the next star. If Heidi and Chloe were funny enough, they’d have done it already. Great bit players, not stars.

I think Bowen Yang will be a significant feature for the show and I'm hoping they find more ways to use him as it feels like he has been type-cast a bit over the last year.

I always liked Melissa but I never felt that SNL used her to her full potential. I enjoy her standup work. Alex will be a huge loss as well and he has played a huge role in the last few seasons.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he does show up. Never know, but Brendan Gleason is hilarious and a great actor so I think he’s going to nail it. I’m excited for Miles and Kendrick too.

Agree on Willow though. Nepotism baby with some of the most soulless, uninteresting, obviously derivative of whatever else is popular in the moment music I’ve ever heard.
