It looks kinda weird. I think there's a bit of uncanny valley going on with the She-Hulk rendering.

It's bad. She looks like Shrek. CG aside the trailer isn't great either. Hopefully it's just a bad trailer, I'll probably still watch the show.

It's a special kind of trailer when it kills just about all enthusiasm for a project I was already interested in. At least Banner-Hulk is in it?

Chip n Dale was a lot of fun. You have to keep your eyes on the screen to catch all the cameos and visual jokes peppered throughout the film. It was a bit more clever than I was expecting so that was a delightful surprise.

So good.

My name is Dale, I don't eat whale...

Ugly. Sonic.

Watched it with the kids (3 times over the weekend) and laughed at stuff with them and at a lot of stuff they didn't get. I recommend it.

Chip n Dale might have the most Easter eggs and cameos in the history of cinema. Hundreds. Hundreds upon hundreds. It’s endless.

I was pleasantly surprised how good it was overall. And Tim Robinson as Ugly Sonic was gold.

Does one need to see the first Sonic for it to make sense?

Chip n Dale has no right to be as good as it is. When I heard about that movie with Andy Samberg and John Mulaney I thought there was no way it wasn't just a quick cashgrab, but it turned out to be the best animation/reality mix movie I've seen since Who Framed Roger Rabbit. And I'm so glad I went into that movie completely dark, when Ugly Sonic showed up I almost had a coughing fit from laughing so hard. My 5 year old was very worried about my health

Anyone watched Ms.Marvel? It looks like a typical coming of age hero's journey character arc, but it feels like the freshest approach to that Marvel has offered in a while. The South Asian cultural representation adds so much vibrance and humor to it. Iman Vellani is also great in the part. Disney is really doing something good with this.

Didn't have a lot of hope for the series going in, was pleasantly surprised after ep 1 and was looking forward to ep 2. Turned ep 2 off halfway through after what seemed like the 6th lecture in a row on culture/society etc.

Pakistani, female, teenaged, under-achiever with "oppressive" Muslim parents (who pretty much let her do whatever she wants) and a (gasp!) friend-zoned guy who hangs out with her 24/7 and handles all the boring smart stuff...

At least Peter Parker is a literal genius and both he and Miles Morales have that self-sacrificing nature that makes them always try to do what's right. This chick just wants to win a cosplay competition, get a million followers and bang the hot guy with the accent and fancy car.

Anyway, like I said I thought ep 1 was good. I'm sure I'll give it another shot, but so far the only things I'm rooting for are the smart kid to find a better girl to hang with and the best friend to win whichever election she was talking about entering at the mosque.

Ms. Marvel is okay. Feels like Spider-man meets Bend it like Beckham.

I didn't see her parents represented as oppressive at all. They just seemed like normal parents to me.

It's clearly got plenty of the traditional tropes, and it's aimed at teens, but I see her more as a normal kid who, yes, does have a crush on the hot guy with the accent and fancy car like lots of teen girls would. Is that a bad thing?

As simple as the basic story arc looks to be, I like that she's like a normal American teen girl from an immigrant family who embraces where she's at and loves that culture while also being positive in her family's own traditional culture even as she challenges it. I also like that it seems her way of finding success in the place she is growing up looks to be like it will come from something special hidden in her own ancestry that she never knew about. It also feels pretty authentic to me and not just a trite or token treatment of her experience as a child of an immigrant family.

The themes in it are pretty positive imo. I'm all for a hero is not a high IQ superstar to begin qith but instead is a normal kid who finds her powers through combining something special from her own immigrant family's heritage and her enthusiasm for the culture of where she's growing up.

The point I'm trying to make is that I prefer superheroes who are super heroes... not super people who just want a million followers on Instagram.

Although I suppose the heroic type can also be just as annoying... Danny Rand comes to mind (at least the Netflix version of him anyway).

OK I just watched Chip n Dale with my kid, that movie is awesome.

There are so many cameos, it's very well done. Highly recommend.
