So why is Jankowski still in then? I would rather have Rinaldo out there where he contributes 5 on 5 instead of a guy who is just taking up a roster spot at this point.

Jankowski has been decent under Ward and he is a mainstay on the PK.
The game he missed the PK got torched so I think that buys him some insurance to stay in the lineup.

Rinaldo doesn't kill penalties. Jankowski logs the most ice time among Flames forwards on one of the NHL's best penalty kills.

Jankowski is the best 4th line centre we have. Pointless to compare him to wingers. Some on here apparently also underrate Janko. But some also put too much emphasis on points as an indicator of playing well. Players can be playing well and getting no points. Jankowski’s line has been good lately, wouldn’t you agree?

Only matchup of the year I can’t watch on gamecentre due to regional restrictions. Unless it falls on Weds or Sat.
BS.

Leafs @ Flames 7:00pm MT SNW and Fan 960
Love that Ward isn’t afraid to spread out the offence, while I would prefer Gaudreau to play possibly on the second line in replace with Dube I think these lines are very intriguing and really playing towards the Flames strength, which is depth. Teams will struggle to game plan against a top 9 with legit firepower on each line. This seems to be effectively using the Flames biggest advantage more appropriately than in past years. Very creative and I love it

This will be a good warm up for next Thursday when the Habs come to Calgary.

Good to see Tkachuk back. I wouldn't have minded seeing Phillips get the taste of the big league, but can't fault any of the lineup decisions.

Missed the past few games due to a work trip. Looking forward to tonight.
When Bennett is back, I would love to see the flames try to play a nasty, physical grind type of game against a team like the 'leaves'.
Don't play an open offensives game. Leafs are way easier to play when teams keep things along the boards.

I'm not in the Rinaldo has to dress camp at all, but man am I glad they brought him in on a PTO.
Solid two way contract signing ... has made an impact with a very successful AHL team, and has chipped in up in Calgary as well.

I hope the Flames play great and beat them soundly and the entitled "Leaf Nation" can continue wondering why their darling team isn't 1st in the NHL by 25 points. Hint, idiots: you don't win championships with a few good forwards, one good d-man and nothing else.

I don’t care I refuse to let mine go. I could get a small fortune too but I’d rather be a part of the solution then the problem

Bennett misses 11 games, Flames go on winning streak. Coincidence?

Truly random observation - weren't the Flames pretty no nonsense on helmets for warm up in the past? Lots of guys without lids tonight. I could be way off since I've only been to a few games this season

It started during the losing streak, in STL I believe.
