Default Any idea where to find firewood - today?

Last minute thought to have a real fire going at Christmas.

Any ideas on where to find some would be great.

Preferable north central Calgary.

Thanks

Burnco is closed on Sundays until spring.

Edit- I grabbed a load of firewood from this guy a few weeks ago:

He had it stacked with easy access to his alley, and so you could see it was a real face cord you were getting. Completely filled my full sized pickup box for $80.

I was at Home Depot on 130 last night, and they had a ton of it. you can find it beside the Subway, sort of outside the store.

My local 7-11 had some.

Thanks for the suggestions. I like that birch idea... maybe another time.

Cruise along elbow drive, ask the residents if any of the trees are blocking thier view of something, if yes, then everybody's problem is solved.

If you're ever up for a bit of a drive to get some firewood, there's a place in Black Diamond that sells all types of wood - it's called Wood King, IIRC - first left as you come around the last curve into town.

I believe this place is across the road from The Spoken Wood and just down the street from Leaf the Wood To Us - in fact all of these places are located in the Firewood District

Across the road from this place, is a Rona. At the end of their property line is a condo/apartment building, and they're surrounded by fields on the other 3 sides. They are right on the edge of town, and as far as I know, they're the only firewood sellers on that end of town.
