It was his final NHL pit stop. Maybe his concussion symptoms were ignored?

Seriously reaper?

I feel like you go out of your way to call people out vs. actually contributing anything of value to the thread.

My guess is that the Flames were one of the teams told him/knew outright and/or documented concussion related issues, but ignored symptoms or downplayed it...and Peluso has some proof of that.

Brian Sutter, R. Preston and S. Smith were the coaches. Coates the GM.

During an era when there wasn't an established concussion protocol. Hockey culture used to shrug off head injuries.

The maligned "ambulance chaser" in issue:

http://www.allsportslaw.com/legal-team/shawn-stuckey/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shawn_Stuckey

He appears to be a stand up person with a track record of making a difference. Logged 400 hours of pro-bono work in a period of less than a year all while passing his classes.

I don't know this guy. But as a lawyer I'm not offended when another lawyer is called an ambulance chaser. There are such guys in the profession. And they know who they are.

And most importantly other lawyers know who they are too.

As a long time paramedic and now lawyar in this fine city, rethink your choice of words please. Its more offensive to paramedics than lawyers.

People have the right to use the phrase ‘ambulance chaser’ if they like. You do not have the right to censor the entire world to spare your little feelings.

If you think the phrase ought to be banned from this forum, maybe you should take it up with the moderators and ask them to add it to the profanity filter. I hope they laugh at you.

There are a lot of phrases people could use about an abundant of issues. Some you would find offensive, some you would not. Its more about respecting other humans. That seems to mean nothing to you which is fine. If i call you any sort of slurs you would be upset, it comes down to your choice in how you treat others. Your lack of sympathy to what others find hurtful speaks to you as a person. So feel free to continue

All of the teams he played for after starting to have seizures are named.

Does anyone know why this case is separated out from the other class action? I figured sticking together would yield a better result.

That is a rather irrational thing for you to be offended by, actually, as the phrase says nothing at all about the quality of paramedics, EMTs or ambulance drivers.
