Nice first outing back for Nate. He should be a massive asset for the bullpen.

That was a pretty nice return. If he stays healthy that's an awesome weapon to have, wow.

I don't know if he pitched his way off the roster, but he certainly gave it a good try.

Holy crap that's the 3rd homer given up by Guchi in just 4 batters.
Brutal.

Yeesh. I hope the bats come back to life as they might need them.

I'm not watching the game but just saw Walker only pitched 3 innings? He isn't hurt is he?

Nope just a tune up start. His next start will be game 2 of the post season.

Look, I know this team is very young and will be going up against a top team, and I also know that this is a short season and this team's starting pitching is still very questionable.
But...
Am I allowed to think they might actually do some serious damage in the playoffs?
https://www.mlb.com/news/dark-horse-...020-postseason
Jays ranked #2 for darkhorse teams right behind the Reds, who most people had much higher to start the year.
Should I....should I get my hopes up?

In a best of 3 the Jays starting pitching is decent. The bats definitely have the potential to do a lot of damage. It's the bullpen I'm worried about. For most of the season they were punching way above their weight class and have now fallen back down to earth.
Any word on Romano? When he got hurt everything started to go downhill for the BP. I hope he can make it back and pitch like he was before.
I really want to see playoff Romano! The guy is already super intense. Imagine in a playoff game what he will be like!

I believe they can do some damage. And I really like their chances against the Rays.
