$30 for a copy of the movie isn't too bad IMO. Then again I like fun.

I gave them some money because I honestly want to watch this movie.
Besides, that may have been a promotional business expense....

Too Funny. Just watched Super Troopers on the weekend. Currently just over half a million five hours in. Probably make the 2million mark by Friday.

I don't know, I'd rather they just left well enough alone. The first one was amazing, one of my favorite comedies ever. Has there been a sequel of a funny movie that was as good as the first?

If anyone can pull of a good sequel I feel that Broken Lizard would be the ones to pull it off. Didn't expect much out of them after Super Troopers but Beerfest was amazing, Club Dread was pretty bad mind you, but certainly had some gems in there.
Trick is to limit the regurgitated gags form the first one.

The pitch video doesn't look promising with regard to that.

I thought they played it pretty good, it was only Farve who was regurgitating things and given his role I would expect that of him.
Anyway at 615k now - steaming along pretty well!

I meant more like what Anchorman 2 and Dumb and Dumbers to did.
They essentially recycled every good joke they had in their first movies.
If Broken Lizard does it right. they'll keep the old jokes to minimum (but still have some in there).

They've been chipping away at this idea pretty much since the first came out. Looking forward to it

The first one had a budget of 3 million and pulled in over 60 million after DVD sales. I highly question them being unable to find any other means of finance for this movie, hype alone will mean it makes a good profit

Don't look now but the first movie came out 14 years ago. I can understand if studio's were hesitant to make another, the only other broken lizard movie to do ok was Beerfest.
