What are the chances of Reeves and Alex Winters doing this. I don't think that Winters has even done much in the last 10 years.

I know it's wiki, but both of their pages have Bill & Teds III listed for 2013.

From what I've found on Google they are both 100% in.

I am having a very hard time picturing a way in which this movie doesn't completely suck. The first two worked because they were basically teen-oriented stoner movies. I don't see how that theme works with stars in their late 40s.

Cheech and Chong say hi(gh?).

EDIT: For the record I predict a very high amount of suck for this movie.

This is a classic case of a movie being cool back when you first saw it when you were younger.

Go back and watch these movies, they're absolute garbage. I can't even put it in the "so bad, it's good" category. They're just bad and nearly unwatchable.

I am curious to see how this turns out given that they're both in their late 40's.

I could not disagree more. I just finished watching both of them this past weekend, and they both hold up very well in my opinion.Almost as well as Goonies.

I think the big question here is: Does Keanu need the paycheck that badly? Are the Matrix residuals not making him enough? I hope this doesn't suck but a lot of the warning signs are there. They could go for a re-invention perhaps.

As long as they aim it an audience in their 30-40s, this could be hilarious, as long as the jokes are good. It could be like Hot Tub Time Machine with "nostalgic" type jokes aimed an adult audience. Anyways, this is what I'm hoping for. A movie that doesn't take itself seriously with well written jokes.

Excellent!

If they're doing it after this long you gotta think there's a good movie idea there
