The ice is still clean, let's start the warmups for the next game now and get on with it.

I just turned on the TV to catch the second OT period just in time to catch that winning goal. I literally watched three seconds. I’m the Bruins good luck charm.

Never turn your TV on again.

Unless they’re playing either of the OilNucks.

That’s a good chunk of change:

https://twitter.com/user/status/1293671426092929033

His comments:

Quote:
“This is why the league’s a joke, in my opinion, on these things,” Brind’Amour told Luke DeCock of The News & Observer. “That one is a crime scene.”

There also seemed to be some confusion over what Brind'Amour was challenging, and he wasn't happy with the communication from the officials.

“They came to me, and I said, ‘If he has possession of it then it’s goalie interference. If he doesn’t have possession then it’s a hand pass. It’s one of the two. I don’t know what you’re calling on the ice,’” Brind’Amour said, per DeCock. “All he has to do is tell me. ‘We’re calling it nonpossession (by Mrazek),’ then we’re challenging a glove-hand pass. If it’s possession, then goaltender interference. I said, ‘Tell me the call on the ice.’ They wouldn’t do it when I say, ‘What is the call?’ So I had to flip a coin. ...

“I said, ‘What was the call on the ice?’ and he said, ‘You’ve got to call one or the other.’ It should be so easy. If they said the goalie had it, then it’s an easy call. They wouldn’t tell you. It makes no sense. I know we weren’t the better team, but if that goal doesn’t go in, do we win that game? I don’t know.”

I was shocked the goal stood. They overturn so many goals on ticky tacky goalie contact that doesn't affect the play, then they allow that, when the guy takes it out of the goalie's glove (not to mention the hand pass)

If Brind'Amour's version of events is true then the NHL (and the ref) are deeply in the wrong here. The call on the ice is not a secret you're supposed to guess.

However that is so obvious I can't help but be suspicious of his version.

That was a dumb challenge, Rod is losing it.

Edit: The one he just made for interference when the game is tied 2-2 in the 3rd.

Should have been obvious from looking at a single replay. You're certainly not getting the call on the ice overturned on that one.

Brind'Amour pulled a Gulutzan. That was pretty easy.

Game 1 was 100% puck speared from under goalies glove, he is right to be pissed. The whole 'hand pass' or 'goalie interfence' 50/50 challenge is sort of BS. They should review the play not the specific piece. 'call your shot' challenging

Game 2 challenge - real dumb - that's goalie interference all day.
