I wonder if this means Iggy signs with Boston soon now that the cap picture is clearer.

Nice to see the Bruins keep a good young player instead of trading them away. Even though the Flames benefited the last time.

Boston gets a slight discount in comparison to the Johnny contract which I think you can easily write off as a Boston over Calgary city advantage.

How any Flames fan can hate the Bruins after they prevented Vancouver from winning the cup is bizarre. Heck, I'd go even as far as saying it's insane.

Great deal and GM's around the league are likely rejoicing. Hopefully next time an RFA player's agent tries to point at Draisaitl's contract as a comparable, the GM can flip the paper and point to Pasternak's instead.
As much as I enjoy the Bruins trading away their star players for peanuts, this is a great deal by them.

Good deal, it helps the B's and helps the league. If he keeps playing this well, his UFA contract at 27 will be huge.

I agree with you. But this is personal. I had a friend who was a Boston fan, I even wore a Boston jersey that night to celebrate with him as we I live in Vancouver and so we went out and trolled the streets of Vancouver that night. But this friend is no longer a friend, he betrayed me in the worst possible way. So now I wish nothing but misery upon him. And this is one way. I can't believe I made the only exception of my life for him when it comes to putting on another teams jersey. BARF

The Bruins will always have a special place in my heart for breaking the hearts of the Canucks and their fans in 2010.
