Everything I need to know about his dedication is evidenced by his amazing fitness coming into camp, moreso than skating with a few lights turned off.

Will be interesting to see how it affects them if at all.

Hopefully not at all as this is kind of a big game for the Flames after slumping prior to the Christmas break with only 1 point out of the last 6 available. The Christmas break was probably perfect timing.

I’m going to my first Flames road game today! I’ll be in my Gio retro, hopefully the building isn’t too hostile and the Flames come out flying!

The lineup looks so much better with him in it. Hopefully he's back soon.

Watch the Flames first of course!!!
Flames always comes first, unless the Juniors game is a gold medal match.

That being said I suspect none of them even left town for what amounted to 3 days. Likely a lot of team/player get-togethers instead.

I think Johnny went home.

If a team was on a good streak or a tough run before the break, that rhythm has been snapped. Great chance for CGY to start anew and get the good feelings going again. WPG is a good team and will present a great test.
Peters touched on it in the pre game but they need to get the work rate up high, especially to start - looking to see CGY set the tone early for tenacity.
Play to their strengths: play hard, smart (disciplined so no unnecessary penalties) and fast. Move the puck quick and make clean exits then make plays. CGY should stick to their game and let their abilities flow.

It's been nice having 8 NHL calibre dmen as it feels like our team is fully healthy yet 2 guys are still on IR.
I like the 4th line and think it should be kept his together..
Come TDL time possibly add a top 9 RWer and push Quine out (as much as I've liked him we could use an upgrade).

Had to go back for a traditional Christmas feast with all the main food groups - turdukken stuffed with skittles, hold the mashed and vegetables.
