Stajan plays a role and he plays it well. I wish people would stop incessantly complaining about him as if he’s some anchor the team is having to drag around. If the Flames are going to challenge for a championship, they are going to need players like Matt Stajan, both on and off the ice.

No argument here but I see the Jankowski s and the Mangiapane s as a better option than Stajan outside of faceoffs as Matt is still a good faceoff guy.
I just like out other options better and they've worked hard to get called up and get the small amount of ice time they get.
I like that these callups have handled the time and situations well and am wishing Glen gives them more responsibility as they seem ready to handle it.
