Default Calgaryboy´s window from the Czech Republic - articles from Czech media about Flames

Hello guys!

I guess this season there will be many articles in Czech media about Flames, till now I have posted numerous articles in many different threads. I have another one for you today. Nice Frols interview. Did not know where to put it, so decided to make my "own" thread where I will post these articles all season long. Hope you don´t mind.

Frols interview:

Will always use google translate, some funny things in there from time to time, but I guess overall you can always understand.

Go Flames!

Definitely isn't easy taking a dump outside in -40C weather! Is exercise or workout being "Engrished" to s### instead?

Quote:
You played in Florida, in Chicago, so hot spots. Then Winnipeg, now Calgary. A little different climate, right?

(smiles) "That's enough. What's going on here, the frosts will pass for a while. It will happen that even in winter there will be a week when it is plus ten and fifteen. One has a chance to get a little s###. Winnipeg was minus forty days every day. "

I love that Jagr lives in basically the closest building to the Saddledome that is possible.

Jagr's instagram also showed they stayed at Lake Louise over the holidays. He had a funny video about "the best skater on the ice" at the ice pond over there with all the tourists skating outside.

can confirm, saw Jags downstairs in my building on NYE.

I was wearing a Flames onesie, he smiled at me and walked upstairs. Didn't seem too impressed with the 1240 AM fire alarm.

Will have to wear my jersey around the house now or when I take down the recycling!

I think you will have to get a jagr jersey for sure and carry a sharpie with you at all times.

I already have a jersey, but just picked up a white permanent marker for future signing opportunities!

Is there a possibility that calgaryboy might see the game when jagr eclipses the record?

The cold weather angle of this story is a little overblown IMHO... We all have this wonderful device in our homes and cars called a thermostat that allows us to live in 22 degree heat...

It's just Father Time catching up....when your cross 40 it's like the warranty period expires and lots of things just start going....

And he lives across the street. Besides, when he was asked he mentions that he grew up in the Czech Republic, where it also gets cold.

He also played a majority of his career in the NE United States. Let me tell you, it gets damn cold here as well.
