I fully expected Bollig to draw in tonight against a physical blues team. Call me crazy but i've been impressed with Bollig's game for the most part thus far. I also really liked the look of our second line and I hope they can bury one tonight. Also if you asked me 6 months ago who was the better goalie between Hiller and Ramo I would have said Ramo, but now I have a gut feeling that Hiller is going to have a great year and solidify himself asour number 1 goalie. With all that being said I'm going with a 4-3 ot win for the Flames. Frolik with the winner. Go Flames Go!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure got the feeling on Saturday that the team is one goal light from Bennett away from having a legitimate second line.
He's coming on, and you get that feeling he'll be dangerous once his goose egg is nuked.

Why are we moving Bennett to the wing? What benefit is it?
And someone mentioned that Backlund was demoted to the 4th line, I don't think that is how it works. Right now each line has different roles. We have two defensive lines (Stajan and Backlund lines) and two offensive minded lines (Bennett and Monahan lines). Not that all 4 of them aren't trying to score and aren't trying to play defense, they are but the expectations are different. The zone starts are different. I don't think anyone has been demoted yet this season.
I like the line up for tonight, I wouldn't mind seeing Jooris back in for Bollig however.
Keep Bennett at centre, he has to learn to play against NHL players, give him some time.

I didn't want to say anything and jinx it, but every time I pick a Flames win, we lose. And vice versa when I pick them to lose. Just trying to keep my streak going. Hope you didn't jinx it! 
But fact is, the Blues beat our ass in their house every time. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we win the game tonight.

This, plus the defenceman rounding into form is what the Flames need to emerge as a top 10 team. We could live with average goaltending for the time being if these things happen.

TV question:
This is the first time I've had shaw in 5 years as I have always had telus TV, so I'm not too sure how this is going to work. Apparently all SN1 subscribers get SNFlames, which with shaw is channel 326 in the PPV's if I understand it correctly. With Shaw's "Personal TV" SN1 is included, so will I get get the game tonight?
Even though there's nothing on right now I tried channel 326 and it said "Failed to authorize" or something along those lines.
Or is there some secret unknown hoop I need to jump though?

That forward group doesn't look like anything special outside of Tarasenko although Stastny always seems to play all world against the Flames.

I believe that the channel is actually 302 for Sportsnet Flames, and as I understand it, subscribers to Sportsnet One (224) get Sportsnet Flames included. It is basically a "companion" channel for regional Flames games.
IIRC, when you tune to 302, you get a message like "Free Preview" or something briefly on the screen, but it disappears quickly. I think that the channel is dead air until the broadcast actually begins.
