Suggestions please - toddlers and Pearson airport

I am a single 33-year-old with ton's of travel experience and travel mileage under my belt. I am literally exhausted just thinking about the thought of the travel and some of the situations being expressed. Good luck regardless.

I don't know if this is an option or not but what about asking VERY nicely if there's anyway you can be bumped onto a later flight in Calgary or an earlier flight to the east coast? 5-hour layover seems VERY long considering how frequent flights are from YYC to Toronto. I am sure if you explain you have a 3-year-old you may get SOME assistance. I understand the flight is on points but you may have some luck in shortening the trip. It doesn't cost you anything to ask.

Good luck and I hope you and your family enjoy the time together and that part of the country, it's a shame due to a variety of factors, we as Canadian's don't travel enough within our border.

Haha pretty damn close, no cancellation but the flight left five minutes later than my original flight.

They boarded us without pilots and made us wait an hour for them before pushing back. Little guy was exhausted but he fell asleep as soon as we got in the air.
