I flew out of Quebec City years ago, they didn't bother doing gate announcements in English at all. Looks like I may have missed out on a small windfall by not complaining.

Oh it doesn’t work the other way, I guarantee you!

Did I hear you correctly? Did you say‘ place the small metal flap into the buckle? or did you say ‘place the buckle over and around the small metal flap’? I’m a simple man, I do not possess an engineering degree, nor am I mechanically inclined.

"Let Evil Knievel get ON the plane, I'm getting IN the plane with all you good folks in Uniform....less wind in here!"

After a quick google of their names, that guy has been up to this #### since 2009. I swear it was discussed on this forum. The picture of his punchable face is hard to forget. Except last time the judge threw out the case for not being served 7up in both languages.
]I'm shocked that they're not charging her[/B] if I understand the story. Basically this awful human being had resigned and was working on her last day.
I don't know if she actually broke the law here, but at least her name is out there, hopefully she doesn't find a new job.
You sound conflicted.
According to the story though, her actions didn't have an impact on rescue services getting to the caller. The dispatcher was just a jerk.
Nah not conflicted. I just don't know if there's a law that she broke in her actions. But its pretty clear that yeah she's a jerk and a horrible person.

They didn't. Emergency services were on scene in less than 15 minutes. Which was even before the call was over.
The dispatcher was insanely rude, condescending and unfeeling, last day or not.
We're occasionally told to remember to treat callers as if our voice is the last one they'll hear...because for some folks, it will be.
There's nothing to charge her with, though. As I have occasionally told my callers when they've called up to ask..."Being a jerk is not illegal, it's just rude and mean."
