Default My Pillow: For a good night sleep!

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if any of you have tried the "My Pillow" that I keep seeing advertised on tv and radio, even locally. For those who don't know, it's the ad with the guy who's fluffing up and hugging his invention, it's a US made product too. They aren't cheap from the look of it but I'm looking to try something new.

Any thoughts?
Thx

Disclaimer: it's 230 am so obviously I have nothing of credibility to add here. But that mypillow guy is a kook. What you need is a purplepillow...

https://purple.com/

In the last five minutes on msnbc I've seen a guy cut the bottom out of a perfectly good boat, cover the giant opening in magic tape and then.....I kid you not....drive the boat over a school of cgi sharks. Hungry sharks.

But that's nothing compared to the no less than 1000 lbs of solid glass that was dropped from a height of six feet on to a purple pillow nest with four raw eggs.

I'll ask my doctor if Levitra is right for me, And I'll buy Shamwows no matter how many hookers bite off Vince's tongue. But I'd like to see that Trump boot licker mypillow guy not scramble eggs with his big fat head on that rip off dog bed of his.

Can't utilize the search function with my phone but somewhere in the vast gear grinder thread is a complaint about mypillow, IIRC.

That guy looks like a pedo religious cult leader, with his huge necklace cross outside of his shirt for the world to see, and how he says "America" 20 times in a one minute commercial. Would not buy anything from him.

So I guess abrasive advertising works.

ha ha the website for the purple pillow asks the question "Butt How?"

buying a new pillow(s) is never easy, becasue since i have become middle aged, i have found that i truly only sleep well at home. if it is possible, i take my own pillows when i travel as i often find tha tthe pillows at hotels are almost always terrible.

that chillow pillow intrigues me.

i'd suggest heading down tot he pillow shopping district and comparing

That may have been my post. We have My Pillows and they're good but not terrific. My complaint is the annoying ads with lies. They say they stay cool, which is false. They warm up like any pillow does. My other complaint is that announcers tout this "brand-new" offer of two for one plus small travel pillows. That "brand-new" offer has been around for at least 12 months, maybe 18.

Instead of buying My Pillows I'd check out Sleep Country. They have a similar product that isn't mail order in case you don't like them.

There is nothing wrong with MPs. They're comfy and provide decent neck support. Do not buy them because they stay cool, as they don't. I'd buy from Sleep Country if I had to do it all over again. It's not My Pillow, I don't think, but I'd bet they have a good product. My Pillow can also be bought in some stores.

Side note: I detest their commercials. I was in my car yesterday and I have two radio stations I listen to. I always change stations when the commercial comes on so I switched and guess what, My Pillow was on both stations. Grrr.

Side side note: stayed in a Halifax hotel recently and it had the best Pillows I've ever slept on. That's the pillow I'd like to buy if I knew where and I didn't have the My Pillow.

I need a pillow that stays cool but every single one that says it stays cool, doesn't - I've inquired about a few but everyone complains about them not staying cool.

We stayed at a resort in Kimberely a few years ago and if I could have walked out with the bed, I would have. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I should call them to inquire the brand/firmness and where they got them because we'll be in the market for a new bed soon and I don't care if I have to sell one of my husband's kidneys to afford it (cuz I'm sure it's $$$$), I want that brand.
