Flames Equipment Sale May 26th
Surprised there's nothing on the equipment sale this weekend. I remember how popular they used to be before they turned into a money grab.

Why is that surprising? That's cheap for a brand new top of the line stick.

Half the price of new. This is the place to go if you want gear you want to actually use and don’t want to break the bank. I’ve picked up lots of equipment in the past, always pleased.

It’s really not that great of a deal...
The TRUE XC9 ACF is a $250-$300 stick...The exact same stick with Giordano on it is $175. They are gouging because it says Jagr...they even have the “cost price” as $500 for Jagr and $250 for Gio

Absolutely a great place to get high end equipment for cheaper...just stay clear of the Premier players and you’ll get a good deal.

Good catch. But are you really surprised by a $75 mark up on the player who is 2nd all time in points? The big names normally have a memorabilia mark up, but they have good deals too.
I kinda want a Jagr twig now though....

If it was a game used stick, absolutely...I could walk into Tuxedo sports and buy a $300 Stick that says OVECHKIN on it...and it would be just as much his stick as this Jagr stick was Jagr’s

I have enough of those for the most part, although if they have Mangiapane or Jankowski still I'd bite...they had them there last year but were still $150 or so.

When I was a kid I remember hearing about players wearing skates 1-2 sizes smaller than their shoe size but the boots were so flimsy then and stuff now that it doesn’t make sense to me
