Default "Walk Out of the Theater" Movies

I can't say that I've ever done it, have you?

If so, what movie? Why?

My very first experience was a teacher who told me that she walked out of 'Men With Brooms' because she was an avid Curler and she found the entire thing offensive.

Okay...

But I dont think I've ever walked out of a movie. I'm...a completionist.

Legion (2010)

It's the only one ever. Me and 4-5 college friends went to see it. We all collectively decided to leave at the same time. Can't remember the specific moment but we all looked at each other and silently agreed to leave.

I can't say I've had that feeling much. I usually don't go to a movie unless I really want to see it and I'm quite positive it will be worth my time. Usually pretty easy to tell from previews.

Men with brooms was enjoyable if dumb from the little of it I remember. Taking offense to movies never made much sense to me.

I've endured many bad ones, even when others in my party left. Not sure I've walked out on any I paid to see.

Movies I wish I walked out of: the Fantastic Beasts sequels. And not even because of the Rowling drama. Making a movie not only tedious but also overlong are unforgivable sins. Not to mention the whole existence of the saga being contrived.

Once. Robin Hood 2010. There was so much dialogue and the dialogue was so poor and i was 19 at the time hoping for something even in the remote realm of gladiator with Russell Crowe as the lead.

I walked out of Punch Drunk Love the first time, not because it was bad but because I was having an anxiety attack watching it.

Thankfully that's something that doesn't happen to me anymore.

Never have, but got roped into seeing one of the Fast and Furious movies once.

I thought I was being pranked, I was so confused and actually looked around the theater trying to figure out what was going on. I couldn't believe that was the actual movie.

Vin Diesel is a talking monkey and those movies are beyond garbage.

Never done it myself, or really been tempted. My aunt walked out of Jojo Rabbit.

I left a play at intermission once, but I've never walked out of a movie at the theatre.

Never for a film, my wife and I did leave an opera once (at intermission).

I do remember watching two people get up and leave while watching Zoolander, right at the Mugatu mind control part. Those people were crazy! It was the movie America needed after 9/11.

Watching the prim proper old couples walking out of The Book of Mormon was funny. Guessing they didn't know what they were getting in to.

The only movie where I saw significant walk outs in was Pulp Fiction, oddly enough. I remember it opening to a fair amount of hype and I guess a lot of people who knew nothing about Tarantino showed up and were offended I guess.

Pulp Fiction is terrible, that might be why too.

The only movie I ever walked out on was the 1999 version of The Mod Squad. Just awful.

I wanted to walk out of the Lord of the Rings, but fell asleep instead. Man did that movie just go on and on.

It wasn't a movie, but when Book of Mormon the Musical played at the Jubilee like a decade ago, some folks got up to leave once they realized what it was...which made it that much better for those of us who knew what the deal was
