Just wait Flames fans....

BT will trade a high pick or prospect at the deadline....

Team will either not make the playoffs or out 1st round...

And Ward will be back next season...

This is the way...

Nah, I agree with Anson Carter for once. It was just too far for Monahan to get over after the switch and he had the puck way to the outside. Just a well executed play 3 on 3.

the game was lost with the EN miss

Can you remember the last time the Flames scored an empty net goal?

Didn’t think so.

Well, 4 games against Ottawa coming up. If they play like they did these last two games there should be some vacancies on the flight home.

This is so frustrating. I know people have different opinions about the how far these players are capable of going, but there's no way this group of players should be this bad at entering the zone. Over the course of these series they get worse and worse. I don't know how it could be more obvious that it's a system issue.

I thought everyone on the team gave it everything they had. Too many players that are either slow or not very quick

Leafs came out flat. Dead flat. Given 3 PPs and couldn’t muster up much. Totally out of sync.

The Flames should be a desperate team taking full advantage. Nope... play down to the level of intensity. Somehow grab a lead and squander it. Sad.

Ward's system is awful as always, but there was a clear difference in the way the Leafs were skating and moving their feet, vs the Flames who clearly weren't competing as hard.

Claude Julien is suddenly available! Come on Tre!!

If that's the best effort this team has in them, blow it up good.

No it isn't. It gives the media, fans, and team executives a sense that we might not be the pile of dog#### that we all know we are and lessen the likelihood of making the hard choices that are necessary for long-term success.

Right now, every win or near-win is a pyrrhic victory at best.

Can’t fault the guys, they played hard. I just don’t think we have the horses to expect much more.

Playing so tight that it stifles offense. PP can not even get set up. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

The players have to have an offensive mindset and this over defensive details approach gives zero margin for error. I can't stand it.

3 of 4 points would be something to celebrate if they didn't have 4 points there, IN the bag, with the ziplock seal half closed.

After dropping a bad one to the Canucks and two to the Oilers, you have to funking bag that fourth point if you have any pride or intention to turn it around.

You HAVE to.

What goes through the heads after 119:00 of shutting the Leafs out.

Just Close. It. The. Funk. Out.

Dark season with this guy at the helm.
Yeah but "3 of 4 points against the best team in the division" means no changes.

I want us to get blown out 7-0 every game until Tree is forced to hire a real coach. Actually, screw that. I want Tree to have to fire his coach and then Conroy be put in charge of hiring the new coach.

Flames struggled to make passes when they had chances.

They had at least three 2-on-1s (including on an empty net), where the pass was off.

If they execute on even one of those they would have sealed 4/4 points against the top team, but have to settle for only 3/4 points.

Has Tree ever traded a high pick or prospect at the deadline?
Or are we just making up stuff to be mad about?
Which is cool if we are. Just seems like there is enough real stuff to be angry about no need to pretend there is more

Why do I get the feeling that these lost wins will haunt us later.

Rittich deserved way better.

Why is it when we start to play great offensively, we suck defensively and vice versa? Show some consistency on both ends of the ice.

On the bright side this isn't an 82 game season.
