Checked out The Weeknd album, and I have to say, it flows. Overall seems like it has a bit of filler, but it flows from one song to the next for the most part, so that was pretty creative.

Don't know where to post this but I figure this was the best thread. The Grammy nominations were announced a couple of days ago and in particular one of the nominees for best contemporary classical composition is none other than ........... Kip Winger. Yes that Kip "She's only 17" Winger;

I just discovered this girl today and I'm now asking the question, "where have you been all my life?"

Was in Melbourne recently and I believe it is required by law there for all pubs to play at least one Courtney Barnett song per hour. Can't say I blame them though, she is a damn good artist.

Spoiler!

http://radio.garden/live/

Radio Garden, which blew up when its creators posted it on Reddit earlier this week, allows you to explore live internet streams of radio stations across the world by navigating a Google Earth-style globe interface. If you don’t like the song you’re hearing, or you land on a commercial, just give the globe a spin and see what you land on next.

Great, just what I needed -- another shiny new toy to distract me. I noticed there is lots of coverage in North American and Western Europe but with the exceptions of pockets here and there, there is very little coverage in other parts of the world. Is this just the design of the web app or is radio broadcasting on the internet not popular in other parts of the world?

Nevermind -- it's something intrinsic to the web app design. I was wondering why there were no radio stations shown for Tokyo. But if you do a search on the internet, there are lots of Tokyo radio stations that stream live to the internet.

I also browse radio stations around the world with the TuneIn app.

Radiohead's Moon Shaped Pool is such a cinematic score type of album that you almost don't realize just how amazing the music is. This band always impresses me. Just when I think they can't come up with anything new that is still pleasant to listen to, they always do it.
