You could get it and own your house ... Beyond that it may prove a little tough. You could go coffee shop to coffee shop on search of decent wifi! This pitch isn't doing anything for you is it?

I have an iPod touch and so far I have 7 territories, here is the key:

Home base - hook up to your own wireless router and shore up that place good.
Downtown - I work downtown and I can hop on this one unprotected router 70% of the time. It is slow but I do lead at times.
Libraries, Starbucks and relatives: These are your key strategic points. My relatives now wonder why I am visiting so much and why I am so hyper and well read!

My house is too ... my backyard is in one territory and my front is in another.

I suppose you could get somebody else to sign in as you. But then you'd own a bit of Vancouver ... why would anybody want that in the first place?

I assume it'll update over time. I notice sometimes it takes a while to rename a territory as well. Might just be a hiccup somewhere.

Hi Oilers_fan,
We recently changed it so that the leaderboard is only refreshed every minute (makes things much faster). So you may find that your rank / resources / leaderboard is at most a minute or so stale. As for rank, that depends on where you stand on the leaderboard. You could gain a territory but if a few other people pick up 1-2 in that time they may pass you. I believe 6-25 is duke and after 25 is earl, and eventually down to a measly peasant.

For now you can't. It is generated randomly when a territory is taken over for the first time. We felt it made certain resources more valuable and would cause people to seek out specific territories for certain resources.

We may incorporate the ability to change the resource in the future though.

I kinda like that the resources are random. For instance my wife and I decided to take a drive searching for hammer. Found a couple and it was actually a really nice drive. I made a joke about swingin' hammer. Wife didn't laugh.

Edit: using the ability to purchase your own blank world, with enough users you could actually do a Flames fans vs. Oiler fans. You'd have to tabulate the team totals by hand, but it could be done.
