I can’t imagine the taste would be any good.
I take it you aren’t having much issues with fatigue getting through a round then, Dion?

It's actually not.
Normally you would be able to pick up a ball in the air after it was hit if you weren't watching the player strike it. With this smoke if you didn't see the strike, you couldn't pick it up in the air.
I've never seen anything like this.
Really hoping the smoke is better in the Okanagan next week.

It was just a joke. But yeah, ball reads have been so difficult lately, especially when the hole is sun facing.

It's the coughing up half a lung that gets me. I don't have breathing problems per say, it's just if I breathe in too much of that crap I get sick to my stomach. And yes it creates a fatigue problem for me.
That said one of my golfing buddies doesn't seem to have a problem with the smoke and has been playing pretty much everyday.

I would not expect it clearing anytime in the near future. It I s the worst I have ever experienced and it is getting worse.

Golfed Wednesday and Friday in the smoke. Friday was definitely easier, but sometimes incredibly tough to track tee shots or long-iron shots with the smoke. Was considering going out again tomorrow, but it felt like the smoke was coming on strong again today so I'll probably pass on a third round.
If you haven't been out for a while, though, I would definitely give it a go. Feel fine after the rounds.

I went online and checked the tee sheet for my golf course. Everyone cancelled and nobody played. That has to be a first ever.

Seems like a slow year on the forum.Am I the only one who has played in YEG this year?
Total sh*t conditions through-out the summer.IMO,Redtail lost the course over the winter.Entire fairways are being re-sodded.1 hr east or west and things are all good.
Coal Creek. What a fun lay-out.And the greens were almost perfect.Trestle was the other that I heard was good but didn't play.

I played cougar creek a couple weeks ago and thought it was in great condition.
Unfortunately I am heading to Europe for 3 weeks Sunday and I think that's all she wrote for my golf season.

I've done both coal creek and trestle creek last year, and both are great.
Trestle creek seems to be kind of a love it or hate it course. I thought it was great fun, with lots of different holes.
Did coal creek and whitetail in the same day, and did trestle creek and cougar creek in the same day

Haha - same as me - headed to Europe on Thursday for two weeks, and I'm really regretting missing (most of) the end of the season.

Bought a pair of Mizuno T7 wedges yesterday. One was a 56 degree and the other a 52 degree.

With this cold weather sticking around and still having the itch to play. Which of the indoor golfing centres is the best? Ideally would like to have some food and drinks while I play. I know xfactor golf was good but food was limited

I played in a league at the McLeod location two years ago. Worst simulators I've played in the city.
I like Riverside or Xfactor.
