Wonder if F1 will be affected by the tire shortage. Lots of touring series in NA are rationing tires or going to harder compounds.

So Abu Dhabi has changed the track layout for more speed and passing opportunities. Gone are the turn 1/2 chicane and turn 3 is now turn 1 with a wide hairpin into tha back straight.
The they got rid of the 2 chicanes at the south end and turned that into a banked wide hairpin. And the the final 4 corners have all been widened.
I'm gonna miss whipping through those south end high speed chicanes in my f1 games.
Looks like canada to be honest now.

Thats such an odd thing to go after KelV. I don't recall hearing much lately about unsafe releases or drivers leaving too early. I've always been absolutely amazed at how much faster RBR is at pits then everyone else, including there sister team AT. Probably more shenanigans between them and Merc with the flexible wing drama, engine comments, etc. Merc is clearly very puckered and under serious pressure for the first time in a long time.

I have wondered about that for years when drivers lay down rubber on their way out of the pit lane and do a bit of a fishtail. I'll be honest, I'm surprised that's the first time I recall it happening.
