Skip the bridge contract on this guy and get an absolute steal.

Then play Brodie and Hamonic against each other to drive their price down. Don’t need both long term, but also can’t lose both next year.

Such a promising player, fun to watch too. I think there's a a lot of untapped potential there. Excited to see what he does next year.

He reminds me of Regehr with his 'low to the ground' way of boxing out opposing players (if that makes sense). Given he's no where close to Regehr's physical game, Andersson is still pretty hard to move and the guy is only 22. He's gonna be a solid defenseman on this team for a while.

While it's a good problem to have, he's a guy that's going to be looking for a big raise next year especially if he improves over last season.

I don't think it's possible to play Reg's physical game any more. Forwards are too mobile, defencemen have to be too quick (and not plant to hit like he did).

I'll tell you what I like about Andersson - his chirping skills at such a young age.
