It was kind of unfortunate that Burris's lone start was primetime Monday night where all of North America got to watch his 7 for 19, 78 yards with 4 interception performance as there's no hiding from that stinker.

Lest we forget Erik Kramer who spent three seasons with the Stamps in the late 80's with varying degrees of success, but managed to forge out a pretty good NFL career. He did have a year in the NFL with Atlanta prior to joining the Stamps, so he was known to NFL scouts etc. prior to coming to the CFL.

Singleton has also “been there, done that” in terms of the CFL. I think he’s shown he can hang at the NFL level, so it makes sense that he would be willing to go the practice roster route, effectively extending his audition...

Yup, you can't fault a guy for chasing the big dollars in the NFL. Injuries happen to every team and Alex will get his shot at some point this season either with the Eagles or another NFL team.

Too bad, but hopefully he gets his shot and sticks there when he gets it. Singleton is a classy guy and he’s impossible to root against.

Dickenson makes so many brain dead calls.
Bombers punting from their end zone and Riders are short a man. We’ve already wasted a challenge and Dickenson calls a timeout because... what? Bombers were gonna go for it since we were short a man? Even if they get extra good punt coverage due to Riders being short the absolute worst case scenario is Riders are starting at midfield.
Icing on the cake is they were giving up a safety so we were getting the 2 points and the ball regardless.
His idiocy will cost us a game this season, hopefully not in the playoffs.

Taking my 4 year old to his first Stamps game tomorrow - can't think of a better game to go to for his first CFL experience.
Him:. We cheer for Calgary?
Me: yes we do!
Him: And we don't cheer for Edmonton?
Me: that's right. We never cheer for Edmonton.
Him: Because they're bad guys!!

Refs letting the riders hold on nearly ever offensive down and then call that menial garbage. What a crock.

Please tell him that the “EE” on their logo stands for the “Evil Empire”
I hope that it sticks and annoy any school teachers who were born and raised in Edmonton
