Tracing Private Caller Number

Is there a way to trace the Private Caller's number with Caller ID?

Not 100% sure but I think you may be able to pay the phone company to get that information. I don't think it is available free of charge.

I don't think there is a way to find out what the private # is but most major phone companies have a feature you can add- basically it will block the private number from reaching you unless they unblock their phone number.

Unless you get the police involved, it's illegal for the phone company to release that information.

Yep, that somehow wound up on my phone. Didn't ask for it and couldn't for the life of me figure out why my g/f's cell phone got a fast busy signal when phoning the house. Turned out she had a private number.

Not a bad feature at all.
