Walmart Blu-Ray deal and the PS3/MGS4 bundle

So in the states Walmart will be starting a deal that when you buy a Blu-ray player including a PS3 you will get a $100 gift card as a bonus. This deal runs June 8-14th

June 12th the PS3 80GB Metal Gear Solid 4 Bundle comes out for $499.00...

Anyone know if the $100.00 deal is going to happen in Canada, I called a couple stores but they don't seem to know... maybe thats a sign that its not... but never hurts to check the CP brain trust...

Ok, I don't think I'm reading this right. If you buy a blueray player AND as PS3, they give you $100? I thought the PS3 was a blueray player.

I'm assuming it'll be any bluray player (including the ps3) and you'll get the deal.

With all due respect to anyone here that works at Walmart, every time I phone them to ask them about a product or service they offer, I'm left with the distinct feeling that I could ask them their name and get the same "Uhhh... I dunno..." response.

I'd keep trying to find out. Eventually, you should be able to get someone that knows. If you believe in math, that is.

He's not saying a Blu-Ray AND a PS3... He's saying any Blu-Ray (including a PS3).
