Have your cake and eat it too. Do you want to listen and music and watch videos? You can do this on a Nintendo DS as well. The DS is my main music player.
You need a Nintendo DS Flash Cart, a memory card, and a multimedia player software for it and you're good to go.
But it's not going to be convenient like an Ipod. What do you do more? listen to mp3s or play games? What is this for? Long commutes on the train?
I live and die by my DS + R4 card. I have SNES, NES and SCUMM emulators on it. I also have an organizer on it, and for fun I put Linux on it heh. And yah all those flash carts come with a media player too, so you can listen to music or watch movies on it as well. And the DS supports WiFi.
Ya those are pretty different things ... I find ipods more useful than portable gaming devices, but then again if I had to sit on a ctrain for an hour a day I'd get a DS so fast you'd freak right out.
