Nope. Here was my exact quote:

Quote:
In honour of the Flames tying the franchise win streak, and for being closer to the black line than at any point in the season, I'm presenting a bonus, horizontal snake. This was inspired by CP user The_Rug in post #549. Since I already have the data, I just linked it to a new chart. Thanks, The_Rug.

The black line will not be changed to another number. This includes, but is not limited to, 94, 92, and 97. Explanation why is from this post: https://forum.calgarypuck.com/showpo...&postcount=616

This thread has absolutely nothing to do with Sports Club Stats, nor does it have anything to do with the likelihood or chance the Flames will make the playoffs. Please do not bring these up in this thread. There are many other threads for that purpose. Anyone bringing up Sports Club Stats will be punched in the taint.

No team in the western conference has achieved 96 points and missed the playoffs.

This is the snake thread. The snake only cares about 96 points.

I would think that with Vegas, the point requirement is higher, not lower.
Especially since the Golden Knights seem to be doing pretty well.

The Flames don't play the Golden Knights until later in the season. It's quite possible that all of these games will have heavy playoff implications.

But of course, the snake doesn't discriminate. It just goes up (hopefully)

The point requirement is not higher or lower. The point requirement is 96.

We're going to need two separate charts soon to track both the flames and the oilers. I don't think you will be able to fit them both all on one page.

Tomorrow night is the big game between the red snake and the blue/orange snake. In honour of that, here are all the snakes. The red snake is 0.268 points below the black line, so a win against the blue/orange snake would put it above the black line after the game. It is 3 points below the green snake and 7 points above the purple snake.

The orange snake is 7.268 points below the black line, 5 points below the blue snake and 6 points below the purple snake.

The red snake is 7 points above the blue snake.

Yes, I should really do something about the colours.

Lots of talk about how the Flames play has been inconsistent; but that snake shows some pretty consistent results through the 1/4 mark of the season.

I love how the extra crispy y-axis scale for the Flames goes to -10, and for the Oilers it goes to -25! That snake is just no good.

The closer to the playoff bubble you are, the more inconsistent you are IMO. Flames need to get above the line and stay there.
