Does anyone see merit in a hamilton/brodie for Trocheck trade?

I personally would be very interested in Niederreiter or Zucker plus Ennis. I would be less interested in Coyle plus Ennis.

Not that I ever put stock into his rumours, but Eklund suggesting Edmonton has “made the offer to beat” for Karlsson” makes me throw up in my mouth a bit.

Edmonton is on his no trade list, so it's not happening.

Let them. How can they fit that under their current cap structure?
3 players equal to more than one third of their current cap?

McDavid, Draisitle, Karlsson, will be more than 30m, not to mention Lucic and Russell which equals half their cap @ the new 80 mill mark

I'm just curious how that stat changes if you don't include penalty minutes, if you could

So its settled, we sign Erat, and trade him and Ferland for Forsberg.
No one could turn that down right?

Isn't that such an Edmonton/Ottawa thing to do? Negotiate a trade they can't make.

Friedman on 960 says he heard Fox's name come up at the draft.
He is also speculating that Ottawa might want Stone to keep Mark happy.

If they really want Stone maybe Tre can get a 2nd from them.

Trocheck isn't being moved. He's the motor for the entire team and is on a good contract for an excellent 2nd line 2-way center. Trocheck had 75 points last year and makes 4.75 million for the next 4 years. Why would the Panthers have any inclination to move him?

Trocheck is someone we could actually win a dougie trade with. Rhs centre who plays hard. Short but built stacked, controls the puck well, plays great d and was almost ppg with 2nd line minutes. He's a perfect fit. No way Florida trades him though!
Also not even a remote chance brodie is close in value lol

Makes sense that foxs name would come up. Flames have no picks and when other teams are looking for some prospects for their pipeline I doubt they are asking about shinkakurk or Poirier
