Saints lose their 7th straight Week 2 game. They didn't deserve to win they one at all.

Goodnight to Alvin Kamara only

I'm actually very surprised how the Raiders offense manhandled a quality Saints defense with all the injuries on the offensive line as they were down to rookie tackles. Raiders defense still worries me but this will be one of the top offensive teams in the league as the Raiders have a lot of weapons.

Raiders are still a work in progress but they are making massive strides and have tons of good young players.

Sorry for Saints fans but I think it's over for Brees. Teams know he can't throw the ball downfield as the Raiders defense is terrible and they handled him pretty well. I don't see them going far as I just don't think they will get the QB play they need.

The NFC South is still the Saints to lose. If it wasn’t for the NFC Easy, the South would be the weakest division in football. Led by 2 QB’s who should’ve hung ‘em up but won’t until the other one does because they want the records.

It took some time, but with Brees and Brady you do see that they don't have the same physical traits some of their younger counter parts do for throwing the ball. It's going to be tough for these guys to beat guys like Wilson and Rogers now as they need to be game Managers and rely on schemes and the others around them to help them win.

I think the Saints really missed Michael Thomas tonight. But I'll give the Raiders some credit here. They were down 17-7, and rattled off 24 straight points to build up a nice lead. You had to feel like you were in bizarro land watching a Raiders opponent rack up the penalty yards and give your team a chance to take advantage of mistakes for once.

You wonder how much rope Brees has. If you love Taysom Hill as much as Sean Payton allegedly does (and with how much he’s being paid), at some point you have to figure we’ll at least see a platoon situation. But yeah Brees really can’t threaten the second level anymore and that makes the Saints much easier to play against.

I think signing Winston was a stroke of genius as the Saints are covered for life after Brees. Payton is one of the best offensive minds in the NFL and while I don't think he will be able to coach the turnovers out of Winston a year holding the clipboard may be a good thing for him as he's still only 26 years old.

Broncos signing Blake Bortles. At his worst, Kaepernick was better than peak Bortles.

It's been so long now, maybe he doesn't even want to play.

I'm guessing more so that he wants to get paid starter money & role. Him holding out builds the narrative that he's been completely blackballed by the NFL if he isn't getting that.

Kap honestly doesn't probably need the money these days since he may be getting it elsewhere. So he's not interested in backup money.

Elway was deposed in Kaepernick's collusion lawsuit so there's probably a better chance of you and I getting signed by the Broncos.

Not saying you’re doing this, but I wouldn’t compare Kap to Manziel.

What's the Broncos goal though? If you want Trevor bringing in Manziel for ####s and giggles and a few jersey sales makes sense, 0-16 would definitely be in play with Manziel.

Yeah Brees was bad, and looked just uncharacteristically off on a lot of even shorter throws, his trademark accuracy just isn't there so far.

Its far from just him though, the guard play has been atrocious to start the year. I'll never understand all the money thrown at LG Peat this past offseason, he's so bad and can't stay healthy either. Emmanuel Sanders has also reportedly struggled picking up the playbook, he said he's never been on a team with this much nuance at WR before. When you're also without Michael Thomas, that's a problem.

D, and the secondary in particular, was inexplicably bad. The secondary was supposed to be the strength of the D, but it was anything but yesterday. The Saints seem to have re-acquired the old Saints version of Malcolm Jenkins, instead of the Eagles version they thought they were getting. Lattimore only ever balls out against top WRs too, he gets lazy and unfocused when its not a big name, like yesterday. They really need Davenport back at DE too, just zero pressure from the DL all night.

When all that is going on, and you also led the league in penalty yardage in both week 1 and week 2 (100 & 129), and you've got a serious problem. Oh to be a fly on the wall in that film room today..

I'd tell Bronco's fans to get their Trevor Lawrence jerseys....but the Jets and Giants also look like they could lose 16 games. But starting Blake Bortles does get the Bronco's with their injuries down to that level.

You don't think it is with Bortles?
