I don't know if anyone else watched the Chelsea match, but that should have been 10-0. Joe Hart had a terrific game and there were also a few near misses, particularly Giroud.

Not sure if anyone saw motd yesterday but that had to be one of the hardest things in broadcasting gary lineker has ever had to do, he has such a connection to Leicester and nothing was known at the time

On top of that glenn hoddle having a heart attack earlier in the day, thankfully sounds like hes doing better today

Joe Hart did have a really strong game. There were some great saves & near goals for Chelsea such as Willian hitting the goalpost, Morata's header deflection, and Giroud's header. Really pulling for Giroud to net one here soon.

As a Chelsea supporter, it was great to see the team play well without Hazard. Thought Morata had one of his strongest PL showings in quite some time (until he started to lose his cool a bit) and Barkley was really good. Kante is Kante how can you not love that guy.

Another player I thought had a fantastic game was Willian. He looked much more comfortable on the left side and I was glad to see him pot a goal after RLC came in and they switched sides a bit.

Sarriball has been so fun to watch thus far.

Well the NFL has to be happy, free advertising tonight. The players? Well not so much.

to be fair, they didn't think they'd need Wembley today. It's all on the Spurs and their stadium tire fire.

Ederson 70 yard pings are just ridiculous, and fitting on the NFL field. Someone might want to sign him up, maybe he can kick 80 yard FGs.

Speaking of field goals, Lamela nailed a 10 yard field goal, unfortunately that doesn't count as a goal. Though to be fair they were dreadful most of the night and didn't deserve anything.

Kind of. I mean they could have played this at the Etihad, but City didn’t want an away game in April. I do see why they might not, but at the same time that’s kind of ridiculous.

I was reasonably happy with the performance today. It wasn’t great but then improved a lot when they brought on their subs. Probably deserved a goal, obviously from Lamela, but at the same time City just has so much depth that a close defeat doesn’t bother me that much.

You can't blame City for not giving them a hand. It's not their fault that the Spurs' stadium situation has turned into such a farce.

Also, if they switched then Spurs would have had 4 home games in a row in April and the league didn't like that either.

Yeah, it’s a mess. But I don’t know if playing on that pitch was good either. It kind of turned into a no win. From a viewer perspective it was weird to see the ball roll “out” past the NFL sideline but still be in bounds. Obviously the pitch itself was a mess, but I don’t know how much of a factor that would be; it’s got to be far better than anything guys like me have ever played on anyway!

If nothing else yesterday ensured that the walls were always going to be 10 yards back, ref had no excuses to get it wrong. At this point Spurs should probably just commit to playing at Wembley again all year, given how ridiculous getting the stadium finished has been, no guarantees it will get done even for January at this point. Might as well save it for next year.

Maybe, but it's costing a lot of money to play there, so there's no way they would do that. If they get things done and host United in January it's still a chunk of the season and likely worth doing.
