This should be a slam dunk for Gio.

There could be more, but those come off the top of my head as non-negotiable sure-fire, slam dunks.

Anyways, Giordano has certainly cemented his place among the greatest Flames ever with his performance the last few seasons, especially the Norris. I always view the Norris as one of the "big" awards along with the Hart and Vezina. Hope Gio finishes his career as a Flame.

Always loved that Sheehy was the only player in the league that would get under Gretzky's skin so much that Gretzky would take shots at him.

But yeah, it's Gio.

Gio is so good he will retain the Norris for two straight years.

How about 9? It's in the rafters...

Murzyn was part of the Stanley Cup winning team, but later went on to have a long career with the Canucks...so no good, haha.

Montador was a huge part of that 2004 run and one half of the "Doors". Such great memories of that time.

But Gio is the hardest working Captain in the league, and the Flames first and only Norris Trophy winner. No doubt about this one.

Curious. When someone votes for a different player than the obvious choice is it for a personal favourite or just to be different?

Contrarians for the sake of contrarianism.

I love Montador as much as the next guy, but come on.

It's a surprisingly decent list, but obviously this is Gio all the way. One of the great players to ever wear the Flaming C.

12 and 14 are actually interesting ones.

They both have a player who was great as part of a great team, and a player who was great alone.

I have a feeling the loan guy wins both hands down, but its not unreasonable to give some votes to the other two.

Sad or exciting? I also think 19 should already be a lock, and the guy is only 22 yo.

No-brainer here but Phil Russell would be number 2 for me. He was a dependable defender in his days as a Flame.

13 will be an interesting run too. Gaudreau will likely take it, but Cammy, on the list too.

Yep. Easy picks:

13 - Gaudreau
14 - Fleury
16 - McGrattan
19 - David Jones....

need I continue?

For objective voters, but there is a growing number of people who irrationally hate Gaudreau.
