Fantasy League: Doughty or Visnovsky?

Who would you take?

Doughty had 27 points in his rookie season (19 years old) with LA. Over the summer the Kings added Smyth, who'll likely be mixing it up in front of the net on the Kings PP with Doughty running the point.

Visnovsky only appeared in 50 games last season, and still managed 30 points. He's put up great offensive numbers the last 4 consecutive years. The Oilers added Comrie this summer **giggle**.




The reason I'm weary of Visnovsky is because Edmonton's already got 3 offensive d-men in Souray, Gilbert, and Grebeshkov. How much PP time is left for Lubo? He seems injury prone aswell...

I'm thinking of siding with the youngster...

Visnosky is their best dman, if you points, he'll get you them more than Doughty will.

Brassard or McDonald?

McDonald, he is the 1st C for the team. Brassard could be too, both are good choices. Depends on if it's a keeper league or not.

As of now, I've got Erik Johnson. I'm not sure who to go with between Gilbert, Doughty, and Visnovsky...

...I'm still feeling like I should go with Doughty. He'll be getting a ton of time on the first PP unit with Kopitar/Smyth/Brown...

If salary or the fact that hes an Oiler doesnt matter than i'd go with Visnovsky, if hes healthy he'll put up the most points.

I like mcdonald but Blues will rotate lines but he shud be good for 70 points. Although Brassard is a boom/safe pick too, he'll be playing with Nash & Juice, imo 50 points for him are for sure after that he could even be a ppg player.
