BMO Expansion Design Released
Details released today on what the new BMO will look like:
Quote:
The Calgary Stampede and development partner Calgary Municipal Land Corporation (CMLC) are thrilled to unveil the design for the expansion of the BMO Convention Centre – Calgary’s premier meetings and convention venue since 1982. This visually stunning expansion, valued at $500 million, will significantly grow and modernize the facility and enable Calgary to host major conventions on a global scale.

Are we going to refer to 2015-2025 as the decade of wood design in Calgary?

Stunning architecture is always a fantastic way to get people excited about their city, especially one trying to build a new identity. This is good.

From the renderings, I really like the design. It does a great job of addressing the midway, while also providing an interesting facade to McLeod

If we can't have large gatherings by June 2024 we've got big problems.

You're assuming that social distancing isnt the 'New Normal' and this is just the world we live in now.
