Not saying it will be spurs but I think chelsea and Leicester fall back to the pack in the next 15 games

By January I think it will be much tighter

I've heard Leicester will fall back to the pack once before.

Both calls look correct to me with the half time replays. The handball will be controversial for sure though.

Eh, Leicester don't have Europe as a distraction. If they stay healthy they'll be just fine. Chelsea might be more realistic to fall back, but having a 9 point cushion right now is a pretty nice amount of slack.

Well it definitely sucks the league is over before Remembrance Day, but congrats to Liverpool fans. Just try to keep the annoying down to a minimum.

It doesn't exactly require a deep dive in the history books to find City overcoming a decent sized Liverpool lead to win the league. This game and season is a long way off from being over.

Yes but this Liverpool team is miles better than that Liverpool team, and City have been decimated by injuries. If Van Djik or Fabinho suffer season enders it gets interesting, but Liverpool are way too strong otherwise.

Dont think europe is as big a deal as it's made, especially with 2 more games in the next 3 months

But christmas fixtures will test their depth, and a few of their players are on blinders right now

By time cl KOs start my guess is from 3rd to 6th or 7th its within 6 points, may be wrong

The handball can be as controversial as they want. They've made handball a controversy because theres no consistency to it anymore.

It hits his hand that is outstretched from his body in an 'unnatural position.'

Cool. Penalty.

Except it ricocheted onto TAA's arm off of Bernardo Silva's arm. So if we want to break out the graph paper and slide-rules then....free kick Liverpool before its ever a penalty.

What a match! Thats what we all wanted to see, not one team parking the bus and forcing the other to break them down, but two teams attacking each other. That was fantastic, possession and dominant play switching back and forth and just a lot of talent on display.

Someone doesn't know the rules.

There is pretty much common agreement that TAA committed handball.

Except for Oliver who did his usual bottling job when it comes to big decisions.

Common agreement with who? These handballs are a source of constant debate, agreement is pretty rare.

Straw Poll of the blokes at the pub in Southwest Manchester.

The Ref said No, VAR said no, the Referee reps said no, the pundits said no 'but maybe.'

So there is agreement!

Oliver bottled it, Mike Riley has said nothing so far (stop making stuff up).

Pundits said yes including McManaman and Mr Scouse Ambassador with his United medals.

Liverpool have major concerns over Mohamed Salah's ankle injury after the forward took another knock to it in the 3-1 victory over Manchester City.

The Premier League league leaders wanted the 27-year-old to remain on Merseyside and undertake a scan on the problem, which has been carefully managed by Liverpool, but was aggravated after a fair but firm challenge from Fernandinho at Anfield on Sunday.

This sucks, especially going into a very busy Christmas schedule, but I've been watching that Fernandinho tackle over again and they should take that clip and be teaching it to young players.

That Fernandinho tackle on Salah was textbook perfect. Probably better.

Fernandinho is a fantastic player.

Same call as was on sissiko in the cl final, and laporte for city (although that was as an attacker), same as a bunch of others last year in CL

Handball when the arm is away from the body in the box is a foul, it's been that way all year in the PL, and all last year in the CL

It's clear as day

Hes been so good at cb too, but missing him in midfield means a lot of chances that he would be sniffing out 40 yards away from goal are getting into the box

Maybe instead of those 8 attacking mids you buy another defender or 2 pep

Sterling dropped by Southgate for a game after wanting to slap Gomez.

A statement released by the Football Association said: “The FA can confirm Raheem Sterling will not be considered for Thursday’s EURO 2020 qualifier against Montenegro as a result of a disturbance in a private team area at St. George’s Park today. He will remain with the squad.”

Give him the armband.

Yikes, sounds like the young guy showed admirable restraint in the face of Sterling being a hothead. Or well above the face of Sterling being a hothead.

Not a fan of either team but you leave to see the turncoats who left for more money losing to their old team.
