both competitions are a joke and unnecessary anyway. I'd be super happy if the calendar was unclogged by eliminating those Mickey Mouse tournsments, but obviously we'll see more and more Mickey Mouse cups instead.

This is a stupid reply. The precedence is there, that the accommodation hasn't been made in the past. Klopp cries alot, and is asking for an exception.
Aim to lose again, with your youth squad. No biggie right?

Baby steps would be to get rid of the double leg semis.

Which part was stupid? The first light hearted joke, or the second?
As I said before, I personally have no issue with sending the youth squad.

Man City and Liverpool both losing at halftime is certainly unexpected.

A game of millimeters at Villa Park. Villa are onside by a shirt sleeve on their goal, Liverpool off by a shirt sleeve on theirs. Villa have played well, haven't given up much space.

This is some kind of plot armour this Liverpool team has, and it is beautiful.

Foster had a worldie and almost tied the game for Watford.
Chelsea got caught playing with themselves in their own end but that VAR decision was definitely weak. In my opinion of course.
Game should have been 4-0 or so easily.

Man, watching these two mediocre teams is awful spectacle, especially after Leicester. It is really too bad LIV and MCI both survived yesterday, otherwise we might have a bit of a 4- horse run with the form Leicester and Chelsea have been on...

This is just terrible though. Diving all over and both teams scared to lose.

yeah, i don't know why the ref doesn't just card someone early for diving to cut that crap out.

So what exactly was the call made by VAR there? Doesn't it have to be either a penalty of a foul by Mina?

That's horrible for Gomes (dislocation?), But no way that's a red card. It's a bad outcome and foul, but not red in anyway.
