"I am actually more excited for the Oilers game tomorrow than the Flames game. I am praying for multiple jersey tosses. The Oilers are my new favourite team for all the wrong reasons. I hate them so much I love them."

He's gonna have to change numbers. Hopefully he can redeem #44 after years of misuse.

I can almost see Kylington being the seventh D next year, and having him train and develop to be able to play both the right and left side.
I appreciate people wanting to just state a list of the best players and plunk them into spots, but on defense the sides matter.
With such a strong left side, I could see a plan like this in place for him. He certainly has the wheels to cover up any mistakes on the learning curve.

Expect the #Flames to announce signing of D Alexander Yelesin soon since he was cut from team Russia and didn't travel to Bratislava

The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed defenceman Alexander Yelesin to a two-year entry-level contract.
Yelesin, a native of Yaroslavl, Russia, completed his second season as a member of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the KHL in 2018-19. The 23-year-old scored four goals and added six assists for 10 points and 47 penalty minutes in 55 games this season. In Yelesin's KHL career he has totaled eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points in 109 games. The right-shot defenceman was chosen for the 2019 KHL All-Star Game this past January and represented the Tarosov Division.
I get a feeling Yelesin is fighting for the #3 RD spot in camp after tree cuts the cap fat. Granted Yelesin will have some adaptation issues to the NA ice size. But the guy plays in the 2nd best league in the world. Dare I say hes pro ready. We will see but I think Stone, Brodie and Prout wont be here. Leaving an open comp for that #3 RD slot.
