For a guy who's counting numbers seem like they would be borderline in terms of making him a top line guy, my first impression is that this is pretty pricey. He's a better winger, than center, and he has one year where he got to 65 points.
This is where knowing his usage and overall effectiveness from advanced numbers would help. But for a tax free state, this seems like more than they should have paid for this player.
