You're joking right? Kulak hasn't played since preseason. He would be much more of a liability than Bartkowski.

For a 6th defenseman he hasn't really been that bad. I'm not sure what you expect out of him.

I think Bart hasn't looked all that bad so far this year personally ~ even more steady than Stone last night as Stone seemed a bit off his game.

Would be nice if Bennett started to produce some offense, Flames have had zero production from the 3rd line.

If he continues to put up duds then imo you need to try Jankowski as the third line center and move Bennett to the wing.

If only kulak was in the lineup, the flames would've lost 5-0 instead of 6-0 nothing.

I blame glue gun for for the top line right wing options only being a 45 year old, a cast off reclamation project and a guy who couldn't get insurance to play in Europe.

That damn glue gun and his roster decisions!

Gaudreau - Monahan - Tkachuk
Bennett - Backlund - Frolik

Lets see it. Bennett will help Backlunds offence and Tkachuk is a beauty.

The blender is starting to bug me a bit. If they line up in duos, after preseason and what we have seen so far, there seems to be chemistry with the following.

Backlund Frolik
Gaudreau Bennett
Tkachuk Monahan
Stajan Brouwer

I would like to see an entire game of these, and then plug and play the others as needed.

The staff seems to resist breaking up the first two lines, but we have seen that this configuration makes three threatening lines, and uses our depth to better advantage.

Seeing these together for only a few minutes per game, is a little frustrating. I enjoy not worrying about a certain ineffective line being on the ice. The 'oh no' effect.

The one we didn't see last night was Tkachuk Monahan, which I liked a lot in presseason, when we got it.

Is there something about versteeg Bennett, that I'm not seeing the advantage of that others are?

Vancouver is a very bad hockey team, no reason we should not easily grab two points tonight.

Hope the players don't have your mindset...

Canucks lost in OT to Ottawa and have beaten Edmonton. They got 3 out of 4 points where the Flames came up with 0.

They are good enough to work hard and sneak up on teams that expect a light work out and 2 pts.

Fans have to stop with the easy games easy two points etc. There are no easy games in the NHL, teams cannot take anyone lightly.

Fortunately for the Flames fans are not part of the team. Anything that we think or say really does not have any bearing at all on how they perform.
