Question Dell XPS 13 Integrated Webcam No Longer Works (Or Recognized)

Hi guys,

I'm facing a very similar issue to this: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...093eaf2?auth=1

Basically I had a fully functioning integrated webcam and the one day a few months back when I went to use it again it suddenly was not working.

I went to the camera app in Windows (Windows 10) and it said "We can't find your camera".

I went to Device Manager and it was shown under "Imaging Devices" and I attempted to re-install, however all this did was remove it from that section and now there is 0 reference to my integrated webcam.

I'm assuming this happened after one of the Windows updates I did months and months ago, but hard to pinpoint what caused this.

Nothing online has been helpful and the only thing I haven't tried is the Reset PC option and I'd greatly like to avoid this as I can't afford any down time on my PC as I use it daily for work.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Reinstall the original webcam drivers from the Dell website?

I can't seem to find them for the integrated webcam unless I'm looking in the wrong spot?

The new goggles also do nothing.

In Windows 10 they're probably just using the built in ones.

There's a guide there for removing the device and letting Windows re-detect and reinstall it.
