everything about the edmonton oilers is hilarious.
How is this man employed by the Edmonton Journal? They are laying off people in the media left and right and this clown still has a job? Management is failing that newspaper badly. Worst part is that crap like that only fuels the fire of the haters.

That is seriously all I got out of that tripe.

This is rich fodder for a parody version. Where's Mike Richards when you need him?

I wish you no luck beyond the season but playoffs are fun and just because you were born in the Edmonton area and raised to be a fan doesn't mean you should be condoned to a lifetime without playoff hockey (the young fans, that is). I think your organization is run by bozos and your media is a team propaganda machine a lot of time and there are a horde of unfortunately vocal trolls out there that don your colours, but it doesn't mean you're all bad people. If you've stuck with the team despite all those things, you should get to have some fun too. Do us a favour and be humble this spring, unlike the ones out there that set a bad example and maybe we can all enjoy it a little more.
Elmer coming out of the hole after 11 years. No surprise from Oiler fans.
Is he by chance the same guy that called into CHED after the Habs meltdown and asked why the Flames were beating the teams the Oilers were losing to when the Oilers had more talent?

No that wasn't me... I also don't think in have really said anything irrational... But Im very interested to find out what I have wrote that is so outragiously inaccurate.
Admittedly not posting anything pro oilers on this thread until they made the playoffs can appear trollish and cowardly but again it's more to the fact I prefer to just be a fly on the wall around here.

Lot's of Oilers fans around here bragging about clinching, they might as well have won the stanley cup. It is a pretty amazing feat though, it's not like over half the league does it every year.
