I will give that a go, but given it's only an issue on this machine I'm betting this is a windows 10 issue.

Some more googling seems to have people adjusting power settings so the card doesn’t power down prematurely. I tried everything but got a new card.

If nothing else you can try the network card swap; I still have that Intel7260ngw that solved my problem, which as mentioned I replaced in my Yoga after having the same issues, and then removed after I had other issues which forced me to return the machine.

So it's definitely the computer. I tested it at a friends house.

It could be Microsoft Virtual WiFi interfering. It's useless so try disabling it by opening the command menu (in the start bar type "cmd" and open as administrator) then copy/paste in "netsh wlan stop hostednetwork"
and press enter. Then copy/paste "netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=disallow"
If I try this and it doesn't work, how would I reverse the change?

netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow

Same thing, just switch disallow for allow. It's risk free, it worked for my wife's laptop with the same wifi card. Hers would work for a few minutes then disappear, only a reset would maybe bring it back
